An open letter to the people of America,
The United States of America House of Representatives has introduced a measure that would give full US support to a possible Israeli bombing campaign against Iran.
Resolution 1553 provides explicit support for military strikes against Iran, stating that Congress backs Israel's use of 'all means necessary' against Iran, "including the use of military force," BBC Persian reported.
The US Government is at this time waging two illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Again, as was the case in Iraq, the US is accusing Iran of possessing weapons that they DO NOT HAVE. We know this NOW. As was the case in Iraq, the Gov't is lying to make a case for war.
Our soldiers are waging war on the poor for the profit of the rich and callous Bankers, Industrialists, Politicians, and Lawyers. Heroin flows from Afghanistan. Contractors outnumber soldiers in Iraq. Weapons manufacturers are in seventh heaven here in north America.
All this as the economy FAILS for millions of Americans.
We all know there is a better way. If the wars do not stop, they may bankrupt the country. If Iran is attacked... I have no words, except for the reason I write. WE must stop our government from attacking Iran. Citizens of the 50 states, let the federal Government of the US hear your voice. NO WAR WITH IRAN!
